Accountability of the Chaplaincy

The chaplain is responsible to the Bishop of Stepney, reporting regularly to the Bishop of London. The chaplain also meets regularly with the Strategic Advisor of Canary Wharf Group plc. A Steering Group including members drawn from some of the major enterprises on the Wharf was formed to advise and support the chaplain.  This group helps with introductions into other Canary Wharf organisations and networks related to the chaplaincy work to:

  1. offer practical help as appropriate
  2. help to focus the work of the chaplaincy
  3. make suggestions, including receiving reports of current progress
  4. advise on risk assessment
  5. assist in fund raising to secure the future of chaplaincy in Canary Wharf.
