What is Chaplaincy?

The Chaplaincy exists for Canary Wharf's working population - currently around 100,000 and increasing to provide :
  • spiritual care and emotional support for workers, irrespective of religious affiliation

  • referral to other faith leaders or counsellors as required

  • a Christian faith presence in the world of work.

  • occasions for Christian worship and events responding to community needs
  • a forum to help facilitate engagement with critical spiritual, social and ethical questions which arise in the complex working environment.

  • a confidential listening ear and ongoing pastoral support through personal or work related issues, providing a network of further help if needed.

  • a place and opportunities for individuals to share their own spiritual journeys.
